Parents are the strongest advocates a child can have to reach his or her full potential. Developing strong partnerships will benefit not only educators but also families and the communities they live in. This workshop will focus on teachers partnering with parents to enhance their advocacy skills. Teachers and caregivers will be offered positive strategies to support the children and families they serve. Information on collaboration with the community will also be provided.

Increasing Self Esteem in Children

Self-Esteem is a necessary element in all persons. In children it is especially important. When parents and teachers assist children in developing positive self-esteem, the children can grow and develop at their highest potential. This workshop will present ways to assist children in developing this attribute.
