Teaching Tolerance Grant Program for preK-12 classroom teachers

     Teaching Tolerance offers grants of $500 to $2500 to preK-12 classroom teachers for projects designed to reduce prejudice among youth, improve intergroup relations in schools and/or support educator professional development in these areas. Proposals from other community organizations and houses of worship will be considered on the basis of direct student impact.

Funding Opportunity: Target Community Giving Program
The Target Community Giving Program supports nonprofit organizations in the communities where the company's stores are located. There are currently stores in every state except Vermont, Alaska, and Hawaii. The company's grants focus on the following three areas: accessible arts for families, family violence prevention, and early childhood reading. Most grants average between $1,000 and $3,000. Child Development Permit Funds Project

 The Child Development Training Consortium may have funds available to pay the application and fingerprint processing fees (if applicable) for the following Child Development Permit levels including Permits with a School-Age Emphasis:

  1. Assistant (first-time and renewal)
  2. Associate Teacher (first-time, upgrade and renewal)
  3. Teacher (first-time, upgrade and renewal)
  4. Upgrades from one of the three lower level permits to Master Teacher, Site Supervisor or Program Director
