The Kern LINCC Constructing Connections works with child care providers, developers, local governments, and other community stakeholders to facilitate the expansion and development of new child care facilities. Project staff utilize the expertise of local, state and on-line resources to help center operators and developers navigate through the 20 Steps to Developing and Financing a Child Care Center. These steps are divided into four phases of development (i.e. PLANNING, PRE-DEVELOPMENT PHASE, DEVELOPMENT, and START UP).
This web site provides links to resources in each of these areas that can be used to achieve the measurable outcome at each step of the way!
